Are you hiring
Utah is a very well run state, similar to Florida. If this were New York or California, this would have taken 20 years and cost $100 billion dollars.

My device is not powering when I hold down the putting. The LED isn't flashing and the wifi network isn't appearing. How can I fix this?
Having the same problem right now. Did you ever figure it out? I’m at a loss here
So many times I've been f..... by the Always ON mode that was Off... it's really NOT user friendly.

I am looking for an underwater camera with Wi-Fi that I can hang from my drone with about 20 feet of cable so I can fly over the lake in summer and bring my drone down to let the camera into the water to look in different places to see if there is fish
Thank for the video. I'm looking for a complete set for the gopro 10, with intend to apply in diving inspection, so the 30m cable would do. Where I can buy or order on line???
what did you use to capture the time lapse
I lived there in 2006 when it was used as a hotel. A beautiful renovation. It is a pity that the statue of the Virgin Mary is no longer there ... Best regards from Poland. Michael.
About support difrent camera (Sony) you saying montha or years about but still nothing...
Hi there! Sony RX0 II is now compatible with our controller, UpBlink. Check out our website for more details: cam-do.com/pages/construction-time-lapse-packs#whats_in_box

is there a solution to auto-upload images from a hero 8 to a custom ftp server?
I left mine in a farm and when lockdown was announced in my country i haad hope it would continue recording, unfortunately only one months worth of photos.
Hi Moses. For better assistance please email your concern to sales@cam-do.com. Thank you.
has anyone found a better option? i am currently using the camdo, but it is so stressful and I need something that is more reliable and has better customer service. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
this product is hit or miss, and customer support is nonexistence.
Why? What are your experiences?
Hi Peter. Sorry for he late reply. We do have customer support to help you. Can you please send us your concern to sales@ca-do.com. We will be happy to assist you.
@@rideplanet4823 it is inconsistent. there are time where i get 1 to 12 pictures per day, and other times 0 pictures. I have had 2 cameras break down on me, and Camdo will direct you to GoPro, but GoPro does not make the 5 anymore , so you are stuck. when you talk to customer support it is by email, so don't expect a fast response or god forbid it is during the weekend when they are off. The usual solution for them is to format the card on both your computer and GoPro, so make sure you mention that in your email or your you will be wasting valuable time.
nice
Fantastic👌🏼
wow, that video didn't tell me shit. not helpful
no proof of 24 hours sun in case some one think so
Can use throught commercial diving ?..
Hi. Thank you for your interest. Yes! It is one of the main use cases. You can email sales@cam-do.com for any other inquiries. Or leave your email to us.

What sort of system you have for the solar cables to enter the housing? Is there already cutouts glands for that?
Hi Alan, there is a gland installed on the enclosure for the solar cable to enter the housing. This prevents rain and dust from entering the unit.
Hello, how are you? Sorry for the mistakes, but this is an automatic translation. My name is Junior, I'm in Brazil, Congratulations on the product, I would like to know if it is for sale, what is the price and if I can access the images remotely over the internet, perhaps over a cell phone network? So I don't have to go to the place. I look forward to receiving an email at wrjstudio@gmail.com
Hi Junior, our time lapse camera systems are very affordable and are available for purchase here - cam-do.com/pages/construction-time-lapse-packs. The system can be connected to the internet via wifi or cellular modem to check the status of the camera and access the latest images from anywhere in the world using our CloudX platform - cam-do.com/pages/cloudx.
How does one do this currently with modern GP's? (hero 8)
Our BlinkX controller has the 'bullet' functionality for the more recent GoPro's. Contact sales@cam-do.com for more details.
I cant get my upblink to turn on, need so help
Hi Gmiono1979, check out the support page for UpBlink here - cam-do.com/pages/upblink-documentation. If you still need assistance please don't hesitate to email our support team.
Nicely done. What model GoPro Camera was used for the construction timelapses?
Hi WillowRidge, The camera used was the GoPro Hero 4, which offers 4K image and video quality. You can also use up to the Hero 8, or the new Sony RXOII for higher image resolution.
When will UPBlink support Motion Detection.
Hi Chris, thank you for your question. Our engineering team is currently working on motion detection for UpBlink. We are planning to have it ready by the end of 2020.
How do I get the cable and just the gopro housing..no the $2000 kit.
Stephen, you can grab just the cable here cam-do.com/products/underwater-wifi-extension-cable-for-action-cameras
this calculator is awesome
Do you mind sharing what type of equipment you used? Great Video!
Hi Roaring Waves, this time lapse project would have been captured with one of CamDo's construction time lapse packs using a Go-Pro camera and our custom controller and enclosure. You can read more about them here - cam-do.com/pages/construction-time-lapse-packs.
be careful when you buy this equipment. I recommend you buy it very early to see what breaks down first so you can try fixing it before your project begins. customer support is nonexistence at best after you buy it.
Hi. sure you are getting this a lot but do you have a Hero7 solution ? we are looking at a 3 year time-lapse starting in 2-3 months
My advise as of now. Use a DSLR with a intervalometer. We hired a professional company they set it up and maintain the system for as long as you need it. The upblink was not reliable so we had to go that route.
@@nieves8004 How could you use a DSLR with an intervalometer for 3 years?!
Fernando Arteaga The company we hired takes care and maintains the rig. For as long as we want.
Can the blink also "charge" the GoPro when it is plugged in? Does it function as a battery eliminator? Or does the blink rely on battery power only?
Never found a solution to the problem I was having. Cam-do sent a new cable and a new Upblink and still the same results. Ended up using a DSLR with a timer. Cam-Do needs to focus on their tech support and tweak their product. I feel they are a very small company spreading themselves out to thin preventing them to focus on what’s important..... their customers. I felt like once I placed my order with Tom. I was on my own. Though I got the uplink to work but it was not consistent so I had to scrap the uplink and go to plan B...
Do you mind sharing the problem you faced? would love to know.tq
The system was not reliable. It would not always upload the images sometimes it detects the camera and sometimes it won’t. Cam do sent me a new upblink and a new cable for the GoPRO and still had issues.
@@nieves8004 I am having the same problem, and now I am trying to salvage my job. Do you have a suggestion on how to do a 2year time lapse
which GoPro did u use?

You better step up your tech support game because as of now it sucks. 5 min my ass....... 2 weeks to address a simple issue with this product. 1. You got a question? Go to to their website fill out a form detailing your entire setup. 2. Wait forever to get a response, keeping in mind your at a construction site setting this up. 3. You get a response. But only if you call their sales number because they don’t have a tech support number. 4. So now you have to convince this poor receptionist to get in contact with the salesman to push the tech team into giving you a response. 5. So bam.... you get a response. A simple answer to a question that could’ve taken 2 min on the phone including on hold time. 6. Ok so now your back trying to get this install done because your on a roof of a building with the hot sun beating on you. 7. Bam... oh shit I forgot to ask about.... now your screwed. You have to repeat the whole process all over again. Just explained the steps you have to go thru to get urgent support from this company. We field guys you know who you are. crazy expensive though. not worth it.
It depends on what you're comparing the cost to and what you're hoping to achieve. The majority of our customers use our products for long term time lapse projects (anything from a few months to a few years!) - and some of the solutions that we hear they're looking into are DSLR kits - so in that regard, our solutions can be hundreds if not a few thousand dollars less than alternatives.
What's your time worth? Seriously. Run the numbers. TL;DR: This is a bargain. This is only for GoPro, so if you're considering this, you're deploying a GoPro, yes? Mid-2019 the max interval for GoPro time-lapse is 60 seconds. If your project is a year long, and your optimal interval is twenty minutes, just on work days, then you want 6,500 frames total. (Eight hours per day x 3 pics per hour, plus 1 at the end of the day = 25 per day. Times 5 days per week X 52 weeks = 6,500 per year.) During that same year the GoPro will make you take take more than half a million pictures. You could avoid weekend days with some baby-sitting, and avoid nights with more baby-sitting. But that's super high touch, which is expensive. So, just let it run. Depending on settings and your memory card size, with your GoPro running itself you'll unavoidably need to empty the card every few weeks. Be super conservative and say you only have to do that ten times through the year. How much time does that take? If you leave the rig set up and transfer via USB, that's a looong transfer. You don't need to watch it run, but you do have to start it, monitor for when it stops, and relaunch the GoPro. Or trade up to a faster transfer time by pulling the memory card. Now you're dismantling your rig. Maybe that's not hard or time consuming. That'll be situation dependent. But let's say that's easy, and quick, and requires no fiddling to realign your framing. It's still not instantaneous, and you're still starting, monitoring, resetting, and relaunching. And after a year, you've got 565,600 pictures which GoPro has conveniently placed in 365 different subdirectories. It's not impossible that you're excellent at Python or similar and could write a little program to extract and arrange exactly the shots you want. (And if that's the case, don't count the programming time at all, because I know that'd actually be fun for someone with those skills.) Otherwise, start sorting: hunt, select, drag, and drop. Nightmare. Now compare all that to setting up the BlinkX once and ignoring it until you're ready for post-production. It's a no brainer. You're very cheaply buying back all those hours to spend doing something more fun or profitable. Random details: 1) No, I don't work for CamDo. 2) Yes, I did buy this within an hour of it becoming available for the GoPro 7 Black. 3) The breakdown above is pretty solid, IMHO, but if you need to make fun of me for something, I'm taking a camera most praised for its amazing advancements in image stabilization and bolting it to a railing for eighteen months. That's a bit silly.
Does it work with the go pro hero 7 black?
Not at the moment, but we expect to be compatible with HERO7 VERY soon!
It does now! (26 July 2019)
